This semi-detached, two storey cottage was built in 1952 for the use of farm workers on Smeale Farm and was converted to holiday accommodation in 1996. It enjoys an elevated position in the centre of the farmland with a spacious, private garden complete with picnic tables and chairs. There is ample off road parking for 2 to 3 cars and the lockable shed is ideal for the storage of bicycles, fishing tackle, etc. Just a mile away is the beach and 670 acre Ayres National Nature Reserve where you can enjoy bird watching, walking or just find a sheltered dune to relax, picnic and play. This is a very peaceful part of the Island and yet all parts of the Island are within easy reach by car. Prices are all-inclusive (no meters to worry about) and, to ensure that you quickly settle into your holiday home, we provide all your bed linen, towels and tea towels although we would ask you to provide your own beach towels. Children are very welcome with cot and highchair available free of charge. As we try to keep the cottage allergy free, we are sorry but it is not possible to accommodate any pets. Please contact Beth and Steve Martin for further details, we can even organise your travel to the Island if required.
