Built in the early 1950’s on the former site of the village Blacksmith’s the cottage has been in the family for over sixty years. The cottage garden is private, walled and child friendly. There is a double garage / ample off road parking space, several small lawns and an outside sitting area. Rear elevated views span the open countryside. The cottage sleeps up to 5 (double, twin and single bedroom) and two bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The kitchen / diner is spacious and generously equipped. And the back cosy family room offers extra space from the main front lounge. The small rural village setting allows for quiet and relaxation, and Bruntingthorpe village is full of character and charm. There are two village pubs both worth a visit. The surrounding countryside is picturesque and there are many local pubs and restaurants in the area. Bruntingthorpe village is close to the country towns of Lutterworth (7 mls) and Market Harborough (12 mls) and the city of Leicester (10 mls). Attractions to visit in the area include Foxton Locks, Bradgate Park, Snibston Discovery Park, Leicester's National Space Centre and the ruined castles at Ashby de la Zouch and Kirby Muxloe. The village is also ideally placed for many of the major motorways (MI, M69, A14, M6) and East Midlands Airport is approximately 30 minutes away by car. Dogs welcome at the cottage. The cottage is no smoking.

Kitchen

The Kitchen / Diner is spacious and generously equipped. There is an electric cooker, washing machine, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment, plus toaster and coffee filter machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils etc. There is a round pine table and chairs for dining.

Living Room

There is a small cosy family room leading from the Kitchen / diner with a two seated sofa and other soft furnishings. The ideal place for relaxation and family games. There is also a radio/CD players and selection of children's books / games. The main front lounge is the main relaxation area for the cottage having settee and soft chairs plus television / DVD player.

Other Rooms

The cottage has a small downstairs cloakroom and small side porch.
