Hunstanton is 2 miles away and Sandringham, with its Royal connections, 5 miles. Heacham is a good location for exploring the beautiful Norfolk coast and countryside. There are some stunning beaches such as Old Hunstanton with its unique coloured cliffs, the Pine woods that fringe the sandy stretches of Wells-next-Sea, and Cromer for a delicious meal of the famous Cromer crabs plus many other beautiful places to visit. Heacham itself is famous for its connections with Pocahontas who features on the village sign and the home of Norfolk Lavender, where you can take a tour of the Lavender fields.
