Set in the upper Wye Valley (pictured) and on the edge of the Brecon Beacons this characterful cottage enjoys a convenient location in a riverside village that is a frequent winner of Best Kept Village awards. An ideal base for exploring this glorious area of Wales just 7 miles from the book town of Hay-on-Wye’s amazing shopping and a short drive from pretty Brecon’s cathedral leisure centre and theatre the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells and Rhayader’s livestock markets and spectacular daily Red Kite feeding station. Hereford Cathedral’s chained library and Mappa Mundi are 25 miles and the golden beaches of the Gower are easily within a day trip. A craft centre and pottery (3 miles) farm shops pony trekking canoeing and fishing are all nearby. A shop pub and restaurant are within a short walk.
