Orchard House has a 5 star Tourist Board certificate, it is spotlessly clean, has cosy beds and is pre-heated for your arrival to offer you the warmest of welcomes in the hillside. It has two double bedrooms, the master is a large double and can accommodate a small single bed for a child. It is en-suite with a shower over the bath. The second bedroom can either be a twin or large double and is en-suite with an eight jet shower cubicle. Both bedrooms have hairdryers, all bed linen and towels are provided. Off road private parking for 2 cars and floodlighting. Enclosed garden with terrace and garden furniture. In house information on activities and attractions as well as maps, flasks and cool bags are provided. Safe storage of bikes and canoes in a lockable shed. Complementary “Welcome pack” includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk and condiments. Bread & butter etc. All bedding provided and mattress/pillow protectors on all beds, hand towels, bath sheets and T-towels provided. The market town of Rhayader is only 9 miles away and the Elan valley on its doorstep with the reservoirs, dams and cycling network. The delights of Hay on Wye, famous for it’s literary festival and Llanwrtyd Wells, famous for World champion Bog-snorkelling, are both 20 minutes away. For outdoor seekers, activities in the area include walking, fishing, canoeing, mountain biking, golf, pony trekking and bird watching, looking out for the famous Red Kite.

Approached from a private driveway the house is entered through a vestibule into the well appointed large fitted kitchen/dining area. There is an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, portable TV, coffee maker, iron & ironing board. Good quality crockery, glasses and kitchenware. There is a separate utility/drying room containing a automatic washing machine.
Living Room
The comfortable lounge, with large sofas and log burning stove make Orchard House a cosy intimate home from home. The lounge has a colour TV, video player, hi-fi CD player. Films, books, games, walking books & maps are also provided.
