The Garden Studio is a newly renovated self-catering maisonette, entered from the sloping garden. It has its own private sitting-out lawn and off-road parking space. It is for two people, but a double sofa-bed will accommodate two more. It has been awarded a VisitBritain Four Star quality rating. The main room is an open plan living room with a well-equipped compact kitchen at one end (inventory available), with fridge-freezer, oven/microwave/grill and washing machine. The living/dining area has a lovely view over the Wellow Brook and its medieval packhorse bridge. There is a TV and video recorder, DVD/CD, hi-fi, Freeview and WiFi Broadband connection; a comfortable double sofa-bed and lounger, writing desk, bookshelf with maps, guides, and information about local places of interest. A cosy double bedroom is on the floor above, and a roomy shower room completes the accommodation. Wellow is an unspoilt conservation village off the main roads, but only 5 miles south of the centre of Bath (2½ miles from the Park ‘n Ride), well placed for visiting Wells, Stourhead, Glastonbury, and Longleat. The Fox & Badger is great for its varied menu & skittles; the village shop for basics, good wines & cheeses; and a beautiful 14th century church. With no street lights, the stars are magnificent. There is a great choice of woodland and river walks and the incomparable Stoney Littleton long barrow (7,000 years old). We are on the Sustrans cycleway system

The well-equipped kitchen has an electric hob, combined microwave/oven/grill (one guest baked her wedding cake in it!) and fridge/freezer and a washing machine.

The living room has a dining area, and is well furnished with double sofa and easy chairs and a writing desk. TV, video, digital Freeview TV & radio, DVD and CD players, with an assortment of CDs, books and guidebooks. There is a ring binder containing over 60 Places to Visit.
Other Rooms
Upstairs is a cosy bedroom with comfortable double bed. A spacious shower room completes the facilities.
