Keeper's Cottage is one of five buildings which have been restored to a very high standard and retain many of their original features including beamed ceilings and estate character. Guests can enjoy peaceful strolls by the lake. Maer Hall itself is privately owned and guests are respectfully requested not to encroach on the owners privacy. Local country pursuits such as horse riding, fishing, bird watching and golf are available nearby. Maer is an excellent base for exploring Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire with many other historic towns, country houses and gardens nearby.
Kitchen
Keeper's Cottage has a spacious kitchen with high quality oak framed units and granite work surfaces. It has a porcelain tiled floor and a separate W.C with wash basin off. It is well equipped with electric cooker, ceramic hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery, glassware, kettle and toaster.
Living Room
The large comfortable living room is tastefully furnished and has two sofas, leather club chair and coffee table. It also incorporates the dining area which comprises an ash dining table and seating for eight.
