Coxswains Cottage provides comfortable accommodation for uo tp 4 people. There is a south-facing front garden with 2 benches, sitting room, kitchen/diner with hand made units and granite worktops, 2 staircases each of which leads up to a bedroom and bathroom and a private rear courtyard (with access over next door cottage if required for bringing in bicycles or when coming back wet from the sea!) Thorpeness has very good facilities for family holidays, there is a large man-made boating lake (The Meare) where boats can be hired. The village also has a good golf course and tennis courts. Aldeburgh, Snape, Woodbridge, Orford, Minsmere, Dunwich and Sothwold are all within easy reach.

Kitchen
The kitchen has hand made units with granite worktops, dishwasher,fridge with freezer compartment, gas oven and ample crockery for 4 people. At one end is an oak table with 4 chairs. At either end of the room is a staircase leading to the first floor.
Living Room
Sitting Room has 2 sofas, lloyd loom chair, upstander, wall lights, flat screen TV/DVD and a selection of guidebooks. There is also a small coffee table. The room is south facing and has plantation shutters for privacy.
