Findley Cottage Retreat is set in an area for relaxing and unwinding. Ideal for accommodating guests from 2 - 6 people. Holistic treatments are also available in the treatment centre in the grounds. All the bedroom windows have open views across our horse paddocks, and open farmland, trees etc. At times you see the squirrels collecting walnuts from our trees, the pheasants feeding their young, rabbits playing in the paddocks. Our horses either galloping around the fields or lazily laying alseep in their field. Then there is the beautiful and amazing sunsets from the cottage, garden or even out walking, a sight not to be missed. We are only 3 miles from the historic small town of Manningtree in Essex with its many sights of interests and the Railway Station. (1 hour from London by train). We are situated between Colchester, (Britains oldest recorded town with Roman Walls, a Norman Castle and fine zoo). and Ipwich town, Suffolk with its many historic features, threates etc. Within minutes drive is the Dry Ski slopes and restaurant, the well televised Jimmy's Farm, local fresh farm food sold in converted barns. East Bergholt, with the church bells set in the grounds in a bell cage. The famous Constable country and Munnings House in Dedham. Cream Teas at Lavenham and so much more. Take the ferry from Shotley, across the river Orwell to the historic town of Harwich and the harbour where cruise ships arrive or leave from Belgium and other areas.

Kitchen
The spacious kitchen overlooks the gravel driveway and enclosed lawned garden with its flowing shrubs, flower beds and trees. It has a new installed range cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. Beautiful tiled floor throughout leading through into the small hallway and into the cloakroom. CD/Radio player.
Living Room
A spacious large lounge with two large leather sofas with cushions. Inglinook open fireplace, oak ceiling beams, fully carpeted. TV, Video and a DVD player. Coffee tables and oak side tables.
Other Rooms
Dining Room, with large glass top rectangular table, with 6 chairs. Beautifully tiled floor. One spacious single bedroom is situated on the third floor. Access is by entering the double bedroom leading through to a door to a stairway, which leads up to the bedroom. The double bed is a 5ft bed. The other single bedroom is accessed through the double single bedroom into a hallway.
