Admiral Cottage

During 2007 the cottage has undergone a major refurbishment and the interior has been beautifully designed to provide a very special holiday experience. With lots of extra touches your stay at Admiral Cottage will be one you will talk about and remember for a long time. The Cottage is Victorian and is situated in the delightful village of Meads, on the outskirts of Eastbourne just a few hundred yards from the seafront. It comprises of a living room with through dining room, kitchen and a luxury bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin and a sofa bed in the living room. The living room has a digital flat screen TV with DVD and CD players. The cottage can accommodate up to six people. Outside is a superb courtyard garden which is ideal for al fresco breakfasts, lunches or BBQs. The courtyard can be accessed from the dining room onto a decked area for after dinner drinks or from double doors leading from the kitchen. The cottage is equipped with a BBQ and also picnic equipment for those memorable walks on the South Downs or days relaxing on the beach. Fresh flowers and a tea tray will welcome you and a bottle of wine chilled in the fridge will get you straight in the holiday mood. Our bedrooms are elegantly furnished with comfortable beds and crisp designer linens, a choice of pillows and duck down quilts. Likewise, the bathroom has a selection of quality toiletries and plenty of generously sized soft towels.

Kitchen

The kitchen of Admiral Cottage is exceptionally well fitted and equipped. It has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven. The kitchen is equipped with modern crockery, saucepans and utensils and is the ideal setting to create a banquet or a simple supper. From the kitchen double doors open onto the courtyard garden which is perfect for alfresco dining.

Living Room

Admiral Cottage has a through living room/dining room which has been furnished tastefully to reflect the period of the property. The living room has a living flame effect fire and the whole property is heated by gas central heating. In the living room there is a flat screen TV, DVD with CD player. The dining room area has a table and six chairs. From this area there is a door leading to decking and the courtyard garden.
