The Drift Barn is a C17 building, located at Laurel Farm in the Heart of Old Elton, only 2 minutes drive from Junction 14 of the M56. Not only are we only 15 minutes from the Historic City of Chester and 30 minutes from both Liverpool and Manchester and their respective airports, we are also only a short drive to the Welsh Border and on to the Wirral. Places to visit locally include Chester Zoo, The Blue Planet Aquarium and Delamere Forest with plenty of activities for adults and children alike. Walk the walls in the City of Chester, take the train into the centre of Liverpool, the birth place of the Beatles, or visit the castles of North Wales and ride the mountain railways. The Business is family run and as such has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, giving that home from home feel, but with a professional and polite service. There are local shops no more that 200yrds from the property and a takeaway for those evenings where you just can't face cooking! We also are positioned conveniently near to the oldest public house in the village, dating back to a similar period, where you will always be assured of a warm welcome and a good glass. Newly built, well furnished and equipped one bedroom cottage in Hoole Village on the outskirts of the historic city of Chester. City centre 2 miles away, Liverpool and North Wales coast both only some 20 miles. Sleeps 2 comfortably plus 2 on a quality sofa bed in lounge. Close to the M53 and all motorways/A55 N,S,E and W. We have stabling for your horses too but sorry, dogs by agreement only.
