Originally a farm cottage, the main part of the house is over 200 years old and was completely renovated, with a large modern extension added in 2010 to a very high standard. Timber A frames and local rag slate complete the effect resulting in an eco-friendly building enjoying solar power and all modern amenities, that blends superbly with its natural surroundings. Away from the pressures of modern life, North Cornwall offers secluded beaches, beautiful rugged coastline, spectacular walking and delightful views. From the upstairs you can sit enjoying the wonderful valley views with the sea beyond, whilst inside care has been taken to ensure you have a fabulous holiday break in Cornwall and enjoy all modern comforts. If you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday with evening barbeques or want to cycle some of the county's national network or walk what must be the premier section of the South West Coast Path, Glentruan offers an ideal base. Ideal for families with children who enjoy the great outdoors, water sports and anyone who would like to discover an amazing unspoilt area of Cornwall.
