The Wayfarers' Rest has recently been refurbished to a high specification including wooden floors in the Living/Dining Room and Bedroom, new kitchen suite and shower room suite. It is a one bedroom bungalow which is adjacent to the private dwelling and can sleep up to three people. It has full oil-fired central heating and hot water, electric blankets on the beds for those cooler evenings and off street parking beside the property. Located in the heart of the Ards Peninsula on the outskirts of the village of Kircubbin it is an ideal base for those who would like to tour around this beautiful location or further afield or even just to take it easy and have a break It is a one hour drive from Belfast and twenty minutes takes you to the busy market town of Newtownards. A five minute walk takes you into the village which offers a range of supermarkets and excellent small shops, pubs and restaurants. Other attractions include nearby National Trust properties, the Northern Ireland Aquarium in Portaferry, the fishing village of Portavogie and many other places to suit all interests.
