The main house dating from the 1700's and the stables from the 1840's are both grade II listed. The stables have been recently converted and now provide luxury accommodation called walnut Farm. They have much character, and are set around a large courtyard. Tourist attractions include Ashby Castle of Ivanhoe, Calke Abbey, Staunton Harold, Conkers, Snibston Discovery Park, Melbourne Hall, National Space Centre, Sudbury Hall, Kedleston Hall, Foremark Reservoir & Swarkestone with their water-sports facilities. Other local attractions are Donnington Park, Coors Visitor Centre and Twycross Zoo. Ashbourne (the ‘Gateway to Dovedale and the Peak District’) and the ever-popular Alton Towers, are an easy drive.

There is a well appointed luxury fitted kitchen area leading to the utility room, cloakroom and the second lounge. The kitchen has a large American style fridge with ice maker.
Living Room
Luxury new conversion with a very large open plan kitchen, dining and main living area with comfortable seating and large corner sofa. The apex ceiling is heavily beamed and the character doors and windows look out over the courtyard. There is a second lounge with sofa bed.
