The property has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and has been tastefully furnished throughout. It offers all the convenience of contemporary living whilst retaining much of its original charm. Sea views and Dunstanburgh Castle can be admired from the south-facing rear of the property and a French door leads on to a decked terrace and BBQ area situated within the lawned, child and pet friendly, garden. Heron's Flight is situated within the very heart of this coastal haven and is only a short stroll from the pub and the hotel with public bar (both serving excellent food), the village tearoom with internet access and ‘Seabreeze’, a small convenience store. Sleeping for up to 8 with two double rooms (one King Size) on the ground floor & two twin rooms on the first floor. A cot and high chair are also available at no extra charge. Heron's Flight was in a poor state of repair and a complete renovation was required when bought by Nigel, Sue, Nick and Gill in February 2007. Beadnell holds a very special place in our hearts having holidayed there regularly as children ourselves. We are extremely passionate about Heron's Flight and sincerely hope that all our guests find the ingredient that makes holidaymakers come back to the area over and over again. It is completely addictive. Purchasing the cottage was a way of getting back to Beadnell and we all love taking short breaks at Heron's Flight when it is not occupied by lucky holidaymakers.

This spacious detached single-storey holiday property is superbly located in the quiet village of Beadnell and is just 55 yards from the beach. The pretty harbour is just a short walk away as are the village store and two pubs serving food. From Seahouses 2 miles you can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to see the wildlife or visit the many shops restaurants and cafes.
