Holmhead Cottage was once a farmworker's cottage attached to Holmhead Farm. Holmhead Farmhouse is now a Guest House and the cottages have been converted to provide comfortable accommodation, for self catering and bed and breakfast. Holmhead is at the head of a sheltered valley on the Hadrian's Wall Trail near Greenhead village.

The kitchen faces south and is just off the living room.

The living room has an electric log flame stove. Feature stone walls colour TV, radio/CD comfortable 3 piece suite folding table with 4 chairs cabinet with china. Glasses. Board games, and tourist information.
