Holmhead Cottage was once a farmworker's cottage attached to Holmhead Farm. Holmhead Farmhouse is now a Guest House and the cottages have been converted to provide comfortable accommodation, for self catering and bed and breakfast. Holmhead is at the head of a sheltered valley on the Hadrian's Wall Trail near Greenhead village.
