Beautiful stone cottage originally a Salmon Bothy ( or workers house ) on the banks of the River Tay. The cottage has open views over the river and a large garden with wooden walkway to the waters edge. The cottage is very well appointed with spacious accommodation for 4. The bedrooms are downstairs with one twin room, the other has super king bed. Also located on the ground floor is the shower room and WC. Upstairs is a large lounge with wood burning stove, open plan kitchen and dining area. All with great views over the river. We are very pleased to accept a well behaved dog and or children. The nearest town Perth is only 6 miles away and offers a great range of shopping and entertainment facilities. Our local hotel in Glencarse is only 1 mile away and has a good bar and nice restaurant. Buchanan's Bothy is in a superb location right in the heart of Scotland with easy access to some of Scotland's best scenery. You can have a different adventure everyday whatever your pleasure. History- castles, palaces and abbey's galore, Golf - St Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles, Scenery- Loch Tay, Rannoch and Tummel all on your doorstep, Disitilleries -Famous Grouse, Dewars and who could forget Edradour Scotland's smallest. Plus lots of opportunities for walking, cycling, bird watching and fishing. So come and see for yourself what makes Buchanan's Bothy so special.
