Situated close to the shore in the sleepy seaside village of South Galson, the location of the property is ideal for those looking for a private and peaceful Scottish retreat, yet it is only a 25 minute drive to Stornoway. The chalet benefits from stunning coastal views, but why just look at it when you can be on the shore in a matter of minutes? There is also a small garden area in which you can relax. Bed linen and towels will be provided which are for use in the chalet only. We ask that you bring your own for the sunny days at the local beaches. Hairdryer provided. Electric heating throughout. Rental periods run from Saturday to Saturday. Inside the chalet is a smoke free zone; however you are welcome to smoke outside on the deck area. Sorry but we do not accept pets. Lewis is an island of outstanding natural beauty with its dramatic coastline and beautiful beaches. Many visitors come to see the Callanish Stones, however the island is also perfect for walking, cycling, surfing, fishing and bird watching. There are several stunning sandy beaches within a 15 minute drive one of which also has a fabulous children’s play park in the dunes. For those who enjoy wildlife you may be lucky enough to see seals, dolphins and otters or eagles. Stornoway is worth a visit, the capital of the Western Isles. Here you will find tennis courts, a golf course, restaurants, shops, a museum, a castle, supermarkets and a leisure centre. A regular bus service runs from the end of the road.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, ironing facilities, toaster, and dishwasher. There are table settings for 8 people.
Living Room
The living room has comfortable seating for 5. There is a television which is connected to sky satellite TV. We have a collection of books which are yours to borrow. If you want to take one home to finish we ask only that you leave one of your own to replace it There is a table and seating at the other end of the room. A high chair with tray is available for no extra charge. ?
