Temple Cottage
Sleeps up to 2 people.
The cottage comprises: entrance hall leading out to the garden, living room, kitchen, double bedroom and shower room. Guests have full use of the private garden with table and chairs for alfresco dining. There is electric heating throughout, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Electricity, Wi-Fi, towels and bedding are included in our prices. Sorry we DO NOT allow smoking or dogs in the cottage. There is so much to see and do here with or without a car. You can see amazing views; watch wildlife galore (such as otters, seals, whales, porpoise, deer, eagles and puffins); visit tranquil and clean beaches; walk and cycle on traffic free paths and enjoy local produce with minimum food miles. Dervaig is on a bus route between Tobermory (the island capital) and Calgary with it's white sand beach and clear turquise water. There are two local tour operators who provide sea and land based wildlife tours who will pick you up from the village. Dervaig has the oldest drovers inn on the island, now a hotel and bar, which serves lunch, dinner and a wide range of beers and whiskies. The village also has a well stocked Post Office and store selling local produce such as bacon and pork from a nearby farm, which is less than a mile away.
